Delamere Nicolet Chartered Surveyors are an independent practice with offices in London, Wimbledon and Epsom. We operate across London and the Home Counties, working closely with our clients to provide them with a bespoke service.
Our Story
As a firm, we are focused on providing the highest standards of clear, professional advice for our clients, delivering a first class service with honesty and integrity.
After building a strong client and referral base, Chris set up Nicolet & Co Chartered Surveyors in Wimbledon in 2012. Nicolet & Co gained a strong reputation with clients, agents and solicitors throughout London and Surrey.
Following a Director Head of Building Surveying role for a London based firm, James set up Delamere Chartered Surveyors in 2020, offering a range of professional surveying services to commercial and residential sectors, whilst also acting as a consultant for Nicolet & Co.
After realising what a great team they make, Chris and James decided to join forces and form Delamere Nicolet LLP, trading as Delamere Nicolet Chartered Surveyors in 2023.

Christopher Nicolet | Partner
Chris is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). He is a registered RICS valuer and has over 20 years of experience of surveying in the residential sector.
Having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2002, Chris gained experience in both residential and commercial investment valuations, Landlord & Tenant rent reviews and Auctions at Colliers CRE in the West End of London.
Over the years, Chris has developed a thorough understanding of building pathology whilst consulting for several banks and a Surrey based firm, providing valuations, building surveys and homebuyer reports in prime central London, South London, and Surrey.
Chris has a reputation amongst his clients for providing highly detailed and thorough building survey reports, and an attentive after-care service.
James Delamere | Partner
James is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years of property industry experience, is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Member of the Expert Witness Institute (MEWI).
Having started his career in Central London, James has been fortunate to work all across the UK, with many prominent clients, landmark buildings and extensive property portfolio’s. During his career he has completed pre-acquisition due diligence surveys of prime residential, retail premises, large offices and industrial estates.
Being proficient in Professional Services such as Party Wall matters, complex Dilapidations and Licence for Alterations, James has undertaken many varying instructions and has developed expertise in these fields.
James also acts as an expert witness for construction claims, acting as single joint expert on several occasions..
Chris Lo | Senior Surveyor
Chris is a Chartered Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a Chartered Building Engineer (C.Build E MCABE), and also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).
Chris is a versatile professional with a robust background in civil engineering and building surveying, specialising in Level 3 Building Surveys and Level 2 Homebuyer Reports.
Being proficient in detailed structural defect analysis, expert diagnosis of damp-related issues, and comprehensive assessment of structural integrity, Chris is known for conducting meticulous inspections, providing clients with vital insights for informed decision-making.
Chris is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
